Question by Rukifellth: Who’s puts the viruses in popular hentai boards?
Now for most porno websites, the risks are obvious. Usually websites can get away with just using greasy key words like “XXX BOOBS ASS”” and only putting the script or whatever to infect your computer without any actual material, which is precisely why I only go on large community based websites.

While browsing one of my favourite websites, rule34.paheal (don’t worry, it wasn’t anything hardcore), I pressed the back button and found out a very obvious attempt at downloading some “free antivirus software”. I misread the text on the popup and accidently clicked “Ok”, but quickly jerked the power cord out of my modem. Horray for System Restore :p This sufficiently pissed me off to post this question: Who exactly puts the dangerous script into the website?

You may immediately assume “the web master/hoster/designer”, but bear in mind that rule34.paheal has existed for at least a year and has tens of thouands of images hosted, and therefore wouldn’t get away with this for very long. Also, who in their right mind would decide “screw this, time to turn evil” after so long? I personally think it’s all the damn webcam ads and other shit at the side of the website. Is it possible for advertisements to do that?
