Question by ashilyforpeace: Are the “Don Ed Hardy Designs” shirts on Ebay authentic?
On Ebay there are some shirts which are advertised as Ed Hardy, but on the back the logo says “Don Ed Hardy Designs.” I have looked at other shirts in person and on the official website and I have never seen a shirt with that logo, but then again, this could always be an older way of branding the shirts and I just don’t know. Hence, I’m asking.

This shirt is a good example, look at the picture of the back of the shirt: http://cgi.ebay.com/NWT-Ed-Hardy-Womens-Tunic-Shirt-True-Til-Death-Blue-M_W0QQitemZ320275043142QQihZ011QQcategoryZ63869QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Yes, I know that nobody is going to sell an Ed Hardy shirt for ninety-nine cents, it’s just an example.

I’m 99% sure those ones are fake. If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is. No one is going to sell a 0 shirt for 99 cents! If you want an authentic one, try looking around for online stores (revolveclothing.com sells Ed Hardy, and I’m sure there are dozens more!) and wait until they have a sale.

Sorry 🙁 There are SO MANY fake things on ebay. It’s really not a good place to buy brand name items, especially clothes and bags.

  1. Well the price it’s listed at definitely gives you a clue. Who would start a new Ed Hardy at .99?

Ebay and Craigslist are the top two places to find the fake stuff. I would say that one is a fake. Best of luck! 🙂
