  1. It means a LOT less walls, other than those used for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and sleeping areas. “Open concept’ is currently very popular and generally offers a nearly ‘wall less’ living area, blending from dining area to ‘great room’ and even to the kitchen area.

    We have just remodeled our middle 1970’s house, and went directly to this concept. It’s much more spacious and inviting.
