Question by Yvonne N: When I “x” out of internet explorer, Windows thinks it’s a mistake and restarts it?
I have always just “X”-ed out of (top right corner) Internet Explorer when finished. Lately, though, when I go to exit I get a message from Windows: “Internet explorer has stopped working; Windows is checking for a solution…”
And then a second pop up says: “Internet Explorer has stopped working; A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available”
(and then the only button on the bottom to close that lil’ screen says”close program”.)
It also would sometimes close it after this supossed “problem”, and then say it “solved the problem” and would restart internet explorer.
I would just quickly “x” out of all the little pop-ups its giving me about this “problem” so I could exit out of Internet explorer because I was done with it in the first place.
Why can’t I just “X” out of Explorer like I have always done with no problems?

You may need to remove Internet Explorer and reinstall it or you could try Mozilla Firefox.
