Question by Bob Hap: How can I get annoying things to stop popping up and saying “Internet Explorer has stopped working”?
Internet Explorer stopped working, so i switched to Firefox. Now every 10 seconds, an error message pops up saying, “Internet Explorer has stopped working. Windows can check for a solution to the problem.” Then it has 2 click-able buttons saying, “Check online for a solution” and “Close the program” I have clicked on both, and it closes out of the box and it pops up again, or nothing happens. Now 10-12 of them pop up and its so annoying. Someone Help! Do i have a virus?
I never use Internet Explorer anymore, so i don’t know whats going on.
I also have AVG it says nothing is wrong with my computer

Restart the PC xD If that doesn’t help (which it will), then kill the IE process via task manager.

Like someone else said, AVG is good, and for pop ups, I use google chrome. It’s way better than explorer. Anything is better than explorer, really, but chrome is the best in my opinion. Hope this helps.
PS, the links below are for avg free download and google chrome download. There is no cost, and these websites don’t give your computer viruses.
