I have a little knowledge of html but not much. I am looking to design a small business website (no buying or selling, just info). I have heard that there is good software out there that takes the html knowledge out of it but they are expensive. I want a relatively inexpensive one to start out with., but I want to be able to make the website look nice and original, not cookie-cutterish.

  1. The cheapest way, is to do it yourself. All you need is a text editor like notepad. Its not too difficult to learn.

  2. Manage Your Own Website 1.15 is a good one for learning, go to download.com and type in website design in the search bar and try one out before you buy it to see if you like it, they usually have a 10 to 30 day trial versions on all of the programs on download.com, i hope this helps any..
