I need help with command prompt—I have a college class?

Question by suepooh: I need help with command prompt—I have a college class?
I have a college class called “simply Java programming” I am required to download the disc and set up the program on my computer to be able to do the homework–I did everything with the book and when I get to the last step which is entering the following in command prompt—cdC:\examples\tutorial01\movingshapes then press enter I get an error message that says “filename, directory name, or volumn label syntax is incorrect–can anyone help me fix this??

Hopefully you’ve got a space between the cd and the C:\ as in

cd C:\examples\tutoria…

    If it’s exactly as entered, then put a space between the cd and the C:

    so…. cd c:….
