Question by punkin_1971: I’ve created my Blog now how do I get people to read it and make money?
Ok I’ve heard all the hype about making money while “blogging”. I’m a stay at home mom, that got angry with my sister’s boyfriend and decided to create a Blog called “Mr Right”. Now how do i also make money from this using adsense? Is it when people view my site? How does this work?

Usually it takes some time. In order to get good money from ad agencies, you need to have a lot of viewers. Blogging really doesn’t bring in a ton of money. And get people to visit your site by visiting a lot of other sites and reading and leaving comments.

  1. making money from net is a little difficult. if your web site ( your blog) is hot enough, and then people visit your site and click your AD(provided by some company, eg. google AD)

  2. First, you need to make sure to use TAGS for your posts. If you mention a topic or people that are really popular in your blog (like as a comparison or something) and list those names in the tags, you will get more hits. You blog will show up when people search for their favorite celebrities like Paris Hilton, or Lindsey Lohan, as well as popular topics like terrorism or ecology.

As far as making money, there are TONS of affiliate programs out there, but not all of them pay well. Adsense is okay, but again, not all of them pay well or at all. I personally found it difficult to find affiliate programs on Adsense that matched my topic, so that people who visited my blog would even read them. I strongly you check the following website for “making money’ or affiliates that have been used and proven to pay by a webmaster I used to correspond with.

    The site is at:
    http://www.robinsenest.com/

I met her by writing to her asking questions about her information. She has been successful with the affiliates she has listed in her site.

I also did well, myself, with the VITABASE PROGRAM. As soon as I signed up, I received a 20.00 credit, as well as a Starbucks $5.00 gift card. And that was just for displaying the ad on my mySpace and/or Blog! The $20.00 credit can be used for a sale on their products or added to earnings and sent to me. The earnings are significant, and are searched for by many people now like for ( diet aids, fat burners, etc.)

Here is the link: (cut and paste)

Or just go to Vitabase.com and set up a new affiliate account! Good Luck to you.
And if you run across a great money making ad to put in a Blog, please let me know too, would you?
    Thanks!

  3. I spent a while trying to weed out the different survey sites and the different sites that pay you to try things without trying to scam you.

I put together a blog for my friends (I figure I’d share it since I wish someone had put this together for me) and I listed the sites that didn’t require me to go through pages of ads and that actually pay out cash and not points or entries into a sweepstakes.

I’d say that realistically if you spend about 2-3 hours a day and complete the surveys and offers for about 5-10 sites or even just to refer your friends that are tight on money now and then, you can average about $150- $250 a week. If you want to check it out my blog its:

There’s no gimmick or money to spend (or credit cards!) just a way for you to make a few extra bucks. Hopefully this helps!

  4. Every time a person clicks on your Google AdSense advertisements, you earn money. There are other ways to earn money on your blog outside of AdSense such as Text Ad Links, Pay Per Post and so on.

You should start trying to get more visitors to the website because the more visitors you have on your website, the higher your AdSense (and other ways of advertising) will be. To do this:

    1) Use a free blog ping such as ineedbloghits – http://www.ineedbloghits.com – which alerts search engines when you’ve updated the blog.

    2) Use tags to categorize blog posts

    3) Create great text content – the more better quality content you have, the more visitors you will have

    4) Write regularly. You should write about something you’re passionate about so the content keeps flowing.
