Okay, first off I want to make it totally clear that I have no intent of doing this or putting any money into these things. I am just plain curious is all.

I see all these ads all the time for people to make money taking surveys online, sell ebooks, sell photos, get paid for blogging, etc etc etc. And I really wonder, are people actually doing this? Are people actually living on this income?

I mean despite the biggie claims, most things claim to pay from like $1.00 per photo or page to $15.00 or so for surveys taken – It seems one would need to work 24/7 to make any real money – but are they doing it? Are people spending their 24/7 on this stuff and making enough money to pay their bills?
Again, this is just a major curiousity of mine, I’m not going to be a potential customer so please feel free to be totally honest here. I am emphasizing that I am not in the market for a money program because I’d just love to hear some experiences of some people who are not trying to sell someone a program or method. I’m just very curious how well these folks get on with things or if there really are that many people flat out lying about it all the time. So if you have any experience with this stuff, good or bad, please share. I will pick a best answer – and I will at least in part base it on how honest I feel you are being.

  1. The people that make the most money online are the people that sell you plans and ideas on how to make money online.

Reality is, if it really truly makes a lot of money – it’s a company secret and there’s no way I’m going to tell anyone about it. If there’s just too much of it for me to take all the money, I’ll hire people to help. That’s reality of making money.

The other reality is that once word gets out that something is profitable, so many other people will jump in there too that there will not be enough profit for everyone (this is one of the laws of economics).

If you find that used bicycle tires will sell on eBay for a high profit, everyone else will notice too. Then they will start the price wars (“I’ll sell you mine for $1 less than his”) and then there will no longer be a profit.

So, if you want to make some money online there are two real ways. 1) sell people plans/programs/etc for them to “get rich quick” because “there’s a sucker born every minute”. 2) develop a real product or idea that has a real market and get to market with it first (all the while remembering that profit law of economics and planning the next product)
